My Family has been in service-oriented businesses in Greece and the Chicagoland area for over fifty years. Snappy Maids was founded  with a simple mission in mind:   

       To provide the highest level of cleaning with a personalized touch.

Later on, I fine tuned the mission to provide Snappy Maids services using only earth-friendly products.

I was inspired by an incident that occurred a few years ago involving my mother.  While cleaning a bathtub, she unwittingly combined several common household cleaning products.  The combination created a dangerous chemical cloud which flooded her respiratory system, quickly, her lungs began to shut down and she began to turn blue.  Fortunately, she was not alone in the house and 911 was contacted.

The paramedics immediately placed her on straight oxygen and flushed her system out.    They explained that have they arrived a bit later, my mother would have suffocated to death.  Following this incident, I became intrigued by the agents contained in most common household cleaning products and was horrified to learn that many of these products can cause serious injuries to humans and pets.

With this discovery and my mother's experience, I became emboldened to provide a service that was both necessary and conscionable.
